Seventeen sophomores from Park High attended the World of Works Career Expo in Great Falls, Mt. on September 26th. Almost all of the Career Clusters were represented. Most exhibitors offered hands on activities for student engagement, including welding, circuit board building, driving a skid steer remotely, CPR practice, intubation, use of surgical equipment, helicopter tour, fingerprint lifting, drunk driving simulator, simulated arrest and booking, hemp braiding, how to file taxes, music creation outside of traditional forms, budgeting games, simulated archeology dig, Lewis and Clark history and journalism experience, empathy testing and many more!
Students gave a thumbs up to their experiences at the event.
