Professional Bio
After a failed attempt to engage in the world of professional pantomime, Sarah Benson pursued a degree in English at Montana State University Billings where she received a BA and a teaching certificate. Deeply engaged in higher education and not quite ready to pursue a career, she continued her studies in the realm of communication, graduating with a Master of Science in Public Relations. Upon marrying and moving to Laurel, Montana, Sarah began her teaching career in the small village of Park City, Montana (not a city as the name would imply). Yet, Sarah and her husband Marc yearned for a more serene and mountainous landscape. Thus in the fall of 2013, they traded the smokestacks of the local refinery for the peaks of the Absaroka Mountains. While her seven years with the district as a high school English teacher has been a rewarding position, in the fall of 2020 she took on a new challenge with Livingston Public Schools as the district's technology integration specialist.
